Finding a therapist who is a good fit for you

the Independent Psychology Service (IPS)

What we do

It can be confusing and difficult to work out what kind of therapy might be most helpful and then to find an experienced, fully trained therapist, who is a good fit, both for you and your problems.

At the IPS, we take seriously the task of trying to help you find a good therapist, by starting with an initial consultation with a Clinical Psychologist who specialises in assessment.

We do not just suggest a name from a list.

Our Network

Founded in 1989, the IPS has built a reputation for providing outstanding psychological care. The IPS is a network of over 60 highly trained and experienced therapists in independent private practice, working from their own consulting rooms. We are Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Psychiatrists, Psychoanalysts and Counsellors, who work with adults, children, young people, couples and families, across the lifespan.

Through this extensive network we can provide access to effective, evidence-based therapy for a wide range of psychological, emotional and relationship problems.
